Greetings Potential Academic Scholarship Recipient,
Birmingham Full Figured Fashion Week is an advocate for all things education; and we here at BFFFW would love to help students advance their future academic endeavors.
BFFFW will bless between 5 - 10 finalists with a one time $250 Academic Scholarship to any school of their choice.
These well deserved recipients will be awarded with a one time $250 Academic Scholarship at Grand Finale Show that will take place in June of 2025. Who can apply?
*Graduating High School Seniors & Established College Students.
*Male or Female Students
*Any size student can apply. Body type is not an option. Although BFFFW is an organization that advocates for the Plus-size, Curvy, and Big And Tall Communities; we here at Birmingham Full Figured Fashion Week are an all inclusive Non-profit Organization.
Requirements are as listed ⬇️*Completed Online Application *Headshot (picture)*Unofficial Transcript *Most Recent Report Card* 2 letters of Recommendation from only two of the following individuals (High School Administrator, High School Counselor, and High School Instructor)
*College Students 2 letters of Recommendation from 2 of the following individuals such as a Professor, Department Chair, or Advisor.
* 250 - 500 Word Essay (Type Only) answering the following question Essay Question: If you were given the opportunity to educate those in society on different body types, and how their words and actions can affect others who look differently from them; then what would you tell them, and how would you deliver your message? (250-500 words)
